Cardinal Foundation Scholarship applications are now available!
The Cardinal Foundation is accepting applications for several scholarships to provide tuition assistance to qualified Gadsden State Community College students. The scholarships may be applied toward tuition, fees and books for the 2018-2019 academic terms.
The Gerald Acker Scholarship for the Electrical Technology Program will be awarded to a first-year student planning to enroll and one currently enrolled student. Each scholarship is $2,000 value and will be awarded $1,000 a semester for any two semesters.
The Benjamin Steinberg Nursing Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $500 to one Etowah County resident accepted into the GSCC Registered Nursing program.
The Anniston Rotary Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $500 to two students who are Calhoun County residents attending the Ayers or McClellan campus.
The Michael Scott Hatten Memorial Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 to two students pursuing a degree in the Machine Tool Technology Program at the Ayers Campus.
The Cardinals Who Give Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $750 to one student who is enrolling or is currently enrolled at Gadsden State Community College.
The criteria for determining the scholarship awards include grade point average, official transcripts, career goal summary, residential status and financial need.
The scholarship criteria and application can be accessed by visiting the Gadsden State website at http://www.gadsdenstate.edu/foundation/home and clicking one of the scholarship buttons provided.
All applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. March 19 or postmarked March 16

ORLANDA SCHOLARSHIP ORGANIZATION
Each year the Orlando Scholarship Organization partners with the Miss High School America Organization to award one boy and one girl a "Community Service and Arts" $2500 scholarship. Please forward this information to a girl and a boy in your school who can apply for this arts/community service scholarship. Deadline is May 15, 2018.
